Berghof Apartments, St Wolfgang am Wolfgangsee
This apartment formed part of a newly renovated old hotel. The hotel was completely gutted with just the shell remaining and was transformed into several luxury apartments overlooking Lake Wolfgang. A lovely German couple from Dusseldorf, Ingrid and Dirk, purchased the apartment and required assistance in decorating and furnishing the apartment to a high standard with luxury details.
Prior to commencement of the project, the apartment was completed with stone flooring in the kitchen, bathroom and guest cloakroom, grey oak flooring throughout the rest of the apartment and the bathrooms were partly installed. I wanted to give the apartment a very modern and sleek feel. It also needed to be fully functional for holiday use and yet be easy to manage and clean.
To give the kitchen, a modern and stylish look, I selected a caramel glass backsplash and a solid black granite worktop paired white high gloss cabinetry. The highly reflective surfaces bounce light and give a real wow factor to the space. All large appliances fitted were high spec Miele products and smaller electrical items by WMF.
Reflective surfaces continue in the living room, with the very sleek “Wohnwand” by Mondo, and in the bedrooms, mirrored and glass front wardrobes, Italian glass desks and bedside tables.
